But imagine a temple that has no deity at all. Surprising, right? Instead of a traditional idol, this unique temple houses an alien figure. Yes, you read that correctly. In Salem, Tamil Nadu, there exists a temple dedicated entirely to an alien.

Unlike traditional temples that feature idols of gods and goddesses, this one is truly unconventional. Instead of a divine figure, it contains a black statue of an alien, placed 11 feet below ground level.

Tamil Nadu’s Mysterious Alien Temple
Reports say the temple was built by Loganathan, a resident of Ramagoundanur in Mallamooppampatti. He claims the idea came from a dream in which he saw the alien figure, inspiring him to create the shrine. Loganathan now performs daily worship for the black idol.
He believes the alien is the first deity created by Lord Shiva and possesses extraordinary powers capable of protecting devotees and shielding the world from natural calamities. Loganathan also claims to have communicated with these aliens, who, according to him, assured their support in safeguarding the planet.

The video has quickly grabbed the attention of social media users, leaving many amused and surprised by the temple’s unusual concept. One user joked, “Meanwhile, Area 51 is laughing in the corner.” Another quipped, “Next up, all Avengers characters representing the nine planets.” Someone remarked, “We are running backwards,” while another simply said, “This is madness—what else can I say?”

Loganathan studied only until class 10. A few years ago, he ran a café but began experiencing severe leg pain. While seeking treatment, he met a man named Siddhar Bhagya, became his disciple, and eventually adopted his name. Guided later by another mentor, Gurunathar, he started building the temple. He believes that ancient Siddha palm-leaf manuscripts mention the existence of aliens and predicts that they may even be worshipped in the future.
The temple was constructed without accepting any donations; Loganathan completed the project solely with the support of his disciples.
