Earth Like Planet: There are eight planets in our universe. Pluto was also considered a planet, but was later removed from this list. Astronomers now predict that new planets will exist at the edge of the solar system. Researchers say that this planet may be similar to Earth.
Washington: For years, astronomers have been searching for another planet in our solar system, commonly known as Planet Nine. But there may be another world-like place near our planet. Japanese astronomers have revealed that another planet similar to Earth can be found. They think that this new world is hidden in the Kuiper Belt (KBP). The Kuiper Belt is a space outside of Neptune that surrounds our solar system. The alleged Earth is 500 celestial meters from the Sun, or 500 times the distance between Earth and the Sun.
Experts say that this planet is three times larger than Earth. And even if this planet existed, it would be so cold that life would not exist. The study was led by Patrick Sophia Likawaka of Kindai University in Osaka, Japan, and Takashi Ito of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan in Tokyo. In their book published in the Astronomical Journal, they say that we predict that there is a planet like Earth.
Planets outside the solar system
There are millions of icy bodies in the Kuiper Belt. They are called Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs) because they lie beyond the planet Neptune. TNO is thought to be a remnant from the formation of the solar system. The Japanese team says that “the movement of trans-Neptunian objects may indicate the existence of undiscovered planets in the outer space. “These bodies of rock and ice are remnants of the outer planetary system. The team noticed that some of them had different eye sockets, which indicated that something was wrong with them.
Kuiper belt is not confirmed
Experts say they are making predictions rather than confirming the existence of the Kuiper Belt, as more research is still needed to confirm it. He also said that the planet he is predicting is different from the ninth planet that was predicted. Planet Nine was first discovered in 2014 by Caltech experts. However, to date, astronomers have no direct evidence for the existence of Planet Nine. Some don’t believe it exists.
