Dr explains that continuous weight gain increases pressure on the kidneys. Due to weight gain, the kidneys find it challenging to filter waste from the body. This affects the functioning of the kidneys. If toxins are not properly excreted from the body, it could expose the body to the risk of developing many other diseases. Hence, it is important to control weight gain.

According to a research study conducted by The University of Manchester in the UK, people with a Body Mass Index of 30 or more are at greater risk than others of developing kidney related diseases. This proves that obesity is dangerous for the health of our kidneys. Dr of this research team said that it is essential to control weight in order to reduce the risk of kidney related diseases. People with a BMI of more than 30 need to be very careful.

Ways to manage weight

Regular exercise.
Include proteins and vitamins in your daily diet.
Sufficient and regular sleep.
Avoid mental stress.
Reduce intake of fat.
