Explosions at Mehrabad Airport Shock Iran

Despite an ongoing ceasefire between the United States and Iran, tensions between the two nations remain high. During the conflict, several Iranian military and air bases were targeted.
Iranian media has now released visuals from Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, showing the extent of the damage. The footage reveals bombed aircraft, scattered debris, and wreckage across the airport परिसर, highlighting the impact of the strikes.
Missile Strike Hits Mehrabad Airport
Last month, Israel carried out a major airstrike on Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, sending thick plumes of smoke billowing from the complex as multiple aircraft were seen engulfed in flames.
According to reports, Israeli fighter jets launched several missiles at the airport, with eyewitnesses describing powerful explosions that shook windows in nearby buildings.
Videos and satellite images circulating on social media showed aircraft engulfed in flames on the runway at Mehrabad Airport. Reports also indicated that the strike targeted certain special aircraft believed to be used by Iran’s top leadership.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Defense Minister stated that the military remains fully prepared to resume operations against Iran and is awaiting a “green signal” from the United States for a fresh offensive.
In a separate development, following reports of a joint US-Israeli strike that allegedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei is believed to be stepping into a leadership role. However, he has not appeared in public since the attacks, with reports suggesting he was seriously injured and continues to undergo treatment nearly two months later.
