IGI Airport Will Be Affected On September 8-10 Due To The G20 Summit

According to the advisory, from midnight on September 8 to 11:59 pm on September 10, road travel to Indira Gandhi International Airport will be affected. If passengers going to the airport prefer to travel by road rather than train, they are advised to plan their journey in good time, the notice said.

Traffic at the IGI airport will be affected from September 8-10 ahead of the G20 summit, the Delhi Police said in a statement on Friday and advised people to use the airport metro line to travel safely and no problem. However, those who still want to use their own vehicles to go to the airport from different parts of the city and NCR region, special arrangements have been made for them, the police said.

For T1, they can travel via Dwarka Sector-22 Road – EBU II – Service Road NH-48 – T3 Terminal Road – Service Road NH-48 – Sanjay T-Point – Ullan Batar Marg, the notification said. Those traveling from New Delhi and South Delhi to T3 and T1 can take AIIMS Chowk – Ring Road – Moti Bagh Chowk – RTR Marg – Sanjay T-Point – Service Road NH-48 – T3 Terminal Road and Sanjay T- Point in Ullan Batar Marg and T1 station, specified.

Similarly, from West Delhi to T3 and T1, passengers are advised to take Punjabi Bagh Chowk – Ring Road – Raja Garden Chowk – Najafgarh Road – Pankha Road – Dabri-Dwarka Road – Road No . 224, Dabri – Gurugram Road – Sector- 22 , Dwarka Road – EBU-II – Service Road NH-48 – T3 Terminal Road/Ullan Batar Marg and Terminal T1, Level. From North and East Delhi to T3 and T1, passengers can take ISBT Kashmere Gate – Rani Jhansi Flyover – Rohtak Road – Punjabi Bagh Chowk – Ring Road – Raja Garden Chowk – Najafgarh Road – Pankha Road – Dabri Dwarka Road – Route No . 224, Dabri-Gurugram Road – Sector 22, Dwarka Road – EBU-II – Service Road NH-48 – Terminal T3/Ullan Batar Marg Road and Terminal T1, the notification said.
