The king’s arrival at the airport quickly drew widespread attention on social media. Users were amazed by the grandeur of the king, while others raised questions about his lifestyle. Many highlighted the sharp contrast between the king’s luxurious life and the struggles of ordinary people in Eswatini, where around 60 percent of the population lives below the poverty line.

Online responses were not entirely consistent. “Managing one woman is headache, and he is managing fifteen,” commenter observed. OMG.” “I am sure Trump cannot ask this King why he is not dressed in suit,” someone else said. “He is living such luxury life, even though his people do not have running water or electricity,” was the third criticism.

King Mswati III’s extravagant lifestyle has already brought him into the public eye. He is well-known for his wealth and regal customs, having ruled Eswatini since 1986. The kingdom is small landlocked nation in southern Africa that was once known as Swaziland. Because of the king’s actions and public appearances, it regularly generates headlines despite its small size.

The disparity between royal privilege and the hardships suffered by Eswatini citizens has been brought to the attention of the world by the viral video. Many internet users criticized the king, while others applauded the king’s arrival for its grandeur.
