Dubai Woman Spends ₹1.2 Lakh on an ‘Uber Monkey’ Ride for a 15-Minute Trip — Driver Arrives in a Lamborghini

A content creator recently posted a video showing her booking a ride known as “Uber Monkey,” leaving viewers both astonished and puzzled.

Uber provides a wide range of ride options worldwide, from budget-friendly cars to high-end luxury vehicles. However, in Dubai, things took an unexpected twist when a social media creator shared a video of booking a ride called “Uber Monkey,” leaving viewers both surprised and confused. Many viewers debated whether the clip was real or AI-generated, as it looked remarkably convincing. In the short video, the influencer revealed that the ride cost 4,968 AED (around ₹1 lakh) for a mere 15-minute trip.

The moment gets even more surprising when a monkey opens the door of a Lamborghini Urus and takes the driver’s seat. The content creator humorously says she is trusting the monkey to drive while admiring the car’s striking all-red interior. She also shares her nervous excitement before the ride, hoping to reach the hotel safely.

Dubai Uber Takes an Unexpected Twist

Sharing the video on Instagram, the content creator wrote, “Here’s how Uber works in Dubai. I chose the ‘Uber Monkey’ ride. My Uber has arrived, and I love that it’s a Urus — it’s such a great car. He looks like a good driver, so I think I can trust him, even though I didn’t check his license or know if he actually has one. He seems friendly and has good taste. I really love the all-red interior, and I just hope he doesn’t crash. We’re about 15 minutes from my hotel, and I really hope we make it there safely. I think I’m going to trust him.”

The post quickly sparked reactions from viewers. One user commented, “Is it real or AI? I think it’s AI.” Another asked, “Is that even legal?” A third joked, “You could buy an iPhone for that much money.” One more quipped, “Gave this guy one star after he stopped at a grocery store for bananas.”

Another Viral Uber Ride From Dubai

In 2024, another Dubai-based Uber video went viral, showing a woman booking an “Uber Camel” ride in the desert. In the clip, she said they got lost and checked the app, only to see a camel listed as an option. Soon after, a man named Deepak arrived with the animal to pick them up. The riders looked surprised and excited as they enjoyed the camel ride. However, it remained unclear whether the video was real or a promotional stunt.
