Varanasi National Highway is in grave danger due to terrifying video that went viral on social media. The video has sparked outrage and forced health authorities to step in, especially due to concerns over food safety. After an official examination revealed alarming, unhygienic conditions, the Samrat Dhaba, which is located across from the Rahi Hotel, was sealed on Thursday.

man from Muhammadabad Tehsil claimed to have discovered dead rat in the curd that was served to him at the dhabasparking the dispute.

Officials claim that as soon as the consumer saw the startling scene, they took video and posted it online. As soon as the video went viral, it sparked lot of outrage and raised concerns about highway dhabas’ food safety regulations.

The video, which is currently making the rounds on the internet, depicts plate of curd with what looks to be dead rat swimming inside. peek of the dhaba and its employees cooking and serving food was also provided by the filmmaker.

Joint Director (Food Safety) Pandey went to the dhaba with his team for an unexpected inspection after seeing the video.

Officials discovered unhygienic kitchen conditions, inadequate hygiene procedures, and incorrect food storage.

The dhaba was promptly sealed after the inspection, and food preparation and sales were prohibited there until further directives were given. The inspection was verified by Ghazipur Kotwali police station Inspector Mahendra Singh. However, he added that there has not yet been an official police report.

Angry Responses Come in As the video went viral, nasty comments filled social media comment sections. “Roadways bus crew dine for free at these dhabas, authorities get paid by them,” was one statement.

You can not consume anything in these restaurants because they are so dirty

Chaat, samosas, and other foods are quite costly and of very poor quality. Every restaurant and hotel experiences the same issue. In reality, who will conduct the investigation?

“There are numerous such dhabas where there is no cleaning at all,” another person said.

They have unrestricted access to their filthy kitchens. Events like this are inevitable when food is prepared in such unclean and disorganized settings. However, the food safety division does not appear to give damn.

discussion about food safety and the necessity of routine inspections, particularly at highway restaurants, has been sparked by the occurrence once more.
