In a shocking incident, a Delhi man recently found a six-metre long python inside his car’s engine. A video now circulating on social media shows a long python stuck in a car. The incident happened in Chittaranjan Park area. As soon as the owner saw the snake, he contacted Wildlife SOS. For those who don’t know, it is a non-governmental organization that helps with humanitarian work. The NGO immediately sent its members.
Today, a video circulating on social media shows the ongoing rescue operation. It took the team more than 30 minutes to remove the python. It was safely handed over to the forest officials. In the video, the team members can be seen crawling under the car to find the place. The crawler has moved into the engine area.
“A wild animal found unexpected shelter in a car in south Delhi. The compassionate owner of the vehicle contacted Wildlife SOS for immediate assistance and a well-trained team quickly arrived at the scene, working in coordination with the police and forest officials,” the organisation wrote in the caption.

Earlier, SOS Wildlife had rescued a rare turtle and an Indian python from the national capital in two separate incidents. In a recent incident, the first rescue operation was carried out near Subroto Park in New Delhi, where a passerby discovered an Indian softshell turtle stranded on the side of the road. In another incident, SOS Wildlife also rescued an Indian musical group from Mandi village. Both animals were unharmed and received the necessary aid attention before being released into the wild.
