Chandrayaan 3 Moon Landing Highlights: Chandrayan-3 Lands Successfully On The Moon

India’s Chandrayaan-3 lands on the Moon’s South Pole. The successful lunar mission made India the fourth country to achieve a soft landing on the moon after the United States, China and the former Soviet Union.

Parties and prayers were celebrated with great fervor across the country before the historic fall month. ISRO broadcasts the landing program on its ISRO website. Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14 from Sriharikota.

The Vikram lander started its descent on the surface of the moon at a speed of 1.68 km per second. It then fell slowly before beginning its vertical descent to the surface of the moon.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister named Chandrayaan-3 mission director after mission success

As Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed in the southern orbit of the moon, making India the first country to reach the region, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin called on the Chandrayaan-3 mission director on Wednesday.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chandrayaan-3 has successfully landed after a 40-day journey from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.

Chandrayaan-3 Live: South African President hails success of India’s moon mission

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday congratulated India for the success of the Chandrayaan-3 moon landing, saying it was a celebration for all the BRICS partners. Chandrayaan’s message remained at the center of Ramaphosa’s welcome speech as he hosted a cultural event and state banquet in Midrand on Wednesday evening, along with leaders of the BRICS countries.

Ramaphosa quoted Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore: “We are in an infinite palace, but we have reached it. As we explore it and expand our relationship with it, we become more of our own.” “This understanding and many others help us to move forward with progress, prosperity and peace”, he said.

Former NASA Official Mike Gold said that the success of Chandrayaan-3 is a triumph of India’s innovation, capital and capabilities that will take India forward. “Congratulations to ISRO and all Indians. This is a victory not only for India but for the whole world as we enter a new era of lunar development with India at the forefront,” Gold said on the landing of Chandrayaan-3 in – good luck. and the Moon.
