After an official examination revealed alarming, unhygienic conditions, the Samrat Dhaba, which is located across from the Rahi Hotel, was sealed on Thursday. A man from Muhammadabad Tehsil claimed to have discovered a dead rat in the curd that was served to him at the dhaba, sparking the dispute. Officials claim that as soon as the consumer saw the startling scene, they took a video and posted it online. As soon as the video went viral, it sparked a lot of outrage and raised concerns about highway dhabas’ food safety regulations.   The video, which is currently making the rounds on the internet, depicts a plate of curd with what looks to be a dead rat swimming inside.
