Man Does Penguin Costume for Proposal to Girlfriend, The Surprising Reason Behind It

When it comes to proposing, people dress up in their favor. Interestingly, a man from England decided to dress up as a penguin when he proposed to his girlfriend. Andrew introduced his girlfriend Kate into the penguin park with the help of staff at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens. The plan went well and the couple is now happy. Recently, Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens in England explained how they helped Andrew organize this plan. In an Instagram post, the zoo explained: “A few years ago, Andrew visited the park with his then-girlfriend Kate. Kate loves Penguins almost as much as she loves Andrew (which is a lot). Andrew and the park rangers have something special planned for his girlfriend. They were booked for their meeting with the penguins. The guards kept Kate busy feeding the penguins while Andrew got an excuse to get back in the car.

While Kate is distracted by the staff, Andrew returns in his Penguin suit. He got down on one knee and asked Kate who expected the gesture. She said “yes” as the delighted crowd of visitors cheered them from the sidelines.

This Instagram post inspired many people to share their fond memories of Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens. One Instagram user wrote: “I swore in front of the Rhinos in 2022.” Another recalled: “My husband told me he loved me in front of the otters. After years, suggested before the red pandas.

Last December, a cute video went viral showing a male penguin bringing small shiny rocks to a female penguin as part of a mating ritual. This video has received more than 11 lakh likes.

Male Adélie and Gentoo penguins, who live on rocky shores, have been known to bring shiny and unattractive rocks to female penguins in an attempt to impress them. Penguins carry rocks between their beaks. The shining stone is considered as a “gift” or “gift”. If the female penguin accepts the gift, she uses it to make a nest. The two flying birds come together to build a nest that is made of eggs. A well-built penguin nest can contain hundreds of stones. Usually, male penguins are responsible for collecting stones to build nests.
