iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max Pre-Orders Open September 12; Sales Begin September 18
Apple has announced that the iPhone 18 Pro will start at Rs 1,64,900 in India, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max will carry a starting price of Rs 1,79,900. India is among the first-wave markets to receive both models. Pre-orders will begin on Saturday, September 12, at 5:30 pm IST, with the phones set to go on sale on Friday, September 18.

India is among more than 65 countries and regions included in the first wave of availability for the new iPhone models, alongside markets such as the US, UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Germany. While Apple has yet to announce India-specific pricing, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 in the US, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is priced from $1,299.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage variants, doubling the maximum capacity from last year’s 1TB limit. The lineup will be offered in four finishes: black, silver, glacier and a new burgundy colour.
In the US, Apple is offering trade-in credits ranging from $175 to $885 for customers upgrading from an iPhone 13 or newer. Select carrier deals can provide up to $1,200 in credit for those trading in an iPhone 14 or later. These offers have been confirmed for the US, while India-specific trade-in details are expected to be announced closer to the launch through Apple’s local store listings.
