The clip has grabbed attention not for action or drama, but for showing one of the world’s most iconic superheroes in a uniquely desi setting.

Known for his serious look and quiet rooftop appearances, Batman is often seen fighting villains and saving the day in films, comics, and series. But this time, the superhero did something no one expected—he was spotted at a roadside stall in India, happily enjoying gol gappe. And no, this isn’t a joke.
Social media is laughing over a recent video that shows a man dressed as Batman casually eating panipuri at a local stall. The clip stands out not because of action or drama, but for bringing a globally famous superhero into a completely desi scene.
Batman Caught Relishing Gol Gappe in India
The video opens with a panipuri vendor placing a gol gappa into a plastic bowl. As the scene continues, the person recording the clip can be heard saying, “Bhaiya! Pehle mere ko” (Brother, give it to me first).
A few moments later, the camera pans to the person holding the bowl, revealing Batman himself. The scene gets even funnier when, in his signature deep voice, he asks for “Mirchi kam” (less spice) and then adds, “Aur meetha zyada” (more sweet).
The vendor, clearly amused by the situation, smiles as he prepares the panipuri. Batman is then seen eating it and, like many others, struggles to finish it in one bite. While the superhero is used to handling high-pressure situations, the gol gappa proves to be a challenge of its own.
The caption accompanying the video reads, “Gotham Nagar ki pani-puri” (panipuri from Gotham Nagar). Viewers are encouraged to
watch the clip.

The Internet Had a Field Day
Amassing more than eleven million views, the reel has gone viral online. The comments section soon filled up with humorous reactions and witty remarks. One user commented, “Panipuri paglu Batman,” while another added, “Other heroes already at the crime location. Meanwhile, Batman….”
Comments continued to pour in, with one user joking, “One sukha, one meetha… and one for justice.” Another viewer remarked, “Batman during daytime,” while another humorously noted, “We got panipuri paglu Batman before GTA 6.”
Not just the humour, the Batman costume also caught users’ attention. One person asked, “Bhai ye suit kahan milega?” while another wrote, “Mujhe ye suit chahiye.”
Additional jokes poured in, such as “Bro protects Gautam Nagar,” “When Bruce visited India,” “Pookie Batman,” and “Justice for Batman.” The video proves that even Gotham’s protector needs a pani-puri break once in a while.
