Well-known Tamil Nadu-based Madan Gowri, a YouTuber, recently shared an encounter that astonished and surprised his viewers. Because Dubai Police and Emirates Airlines acted quickly, he was able to retrieve his cell phone securely in Chennai after losing it at Dubai International Airport.
Gowri said in a September 2, 2025, Instagram video that he had lost his phone a week prior and had called airport personnel, who only requested that he email the phone’s information. He was shocked to learn via email that the phone had been located after he got back to India.
The following action, in which the Dubai police arranged to transfer the phone to Chennai for free via the next available Emirates flight, astounded him and many of his supporters.

The now-viral video, which has received over 2.7 million views and over 2 lakh likes, features Gowri expressing her sincere gratitude to Dubai Police and Emirates. Social media users commended Dubai’s officials for their honesty and efficiency, with many referring to the United Arab Emirates as one of the “safest countries in the world.”
According to one user, “Safest country in the world, 100%,” Another user said, “Dubai police are always the greatest in the world,”
A third person added, “This is standard airline practice… All airlines follow this practice, not just Emirates.”
